Tentrr Signature - Stoney Creek Farm
This is an exclusive Tentrr site. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Each Tentrr Signature site includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find a queen-size single or bunk bed inside. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. If you're camping with a larger party, the site also has a 5-person dome tent that you can easily set up for extra sleeping space.
The Tentrr - Stoney Creek Farm is a private campsite beside a secluded wildlife pond. You can listen to the local barred owls and many wild bird and frog calls. Revel in an outstanding night sky view without light pollution. We have a zip line for children to use at the pond (weight limit of 130 lbs) and a hammock is set up at the edge of the woods for your leisure.
Our campsite is just a couple of miles away from a great "Pick Your Own" orchard called Butternut Farm. They open in June with strawberries and run through October with cherries, peaches, nectarines, apples and a lot more. We are also a 10-minute drive to the parking lot of Blue Job Mountain. From there it's just a 20-minute walk to the top with a view from Mount Washington to the ocean off Kittery and Portsmouth. If you're looking for a little excitement, we are a 15-minute drive to Sky Dive New England.
This campsite is off-the-grid, offering the chance to relax, unplug, and experience nature! There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service may be hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage).
When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be close by and dogs are always allowed!

Other Things to Note:
Camping during Covid-19: Tentrr campsites have always been the perfect solution for getting away from it all. Privacy and seclusion are part of what make our outdoor accommodations unique, and usually all it takes is a quick road trip out of the city to reach one of our exclusive camping destinations. In the age of social distancing, isolated time can still be quality time - especially when you’re unplugged and out in nature - and we want you to know that the Tentrr team and our hosts are working together to make sure you have a safe and relaxing experience. Our hosts have been doing a great job ensuring our campsites are clean and spotless for your arrival. We ask that you do your part as well - maintain social distancing, clean up after yourselves, and leave no trace - so that everyone in our camping communities can enjoy these cherished outdoor spaces.
Tentrr Campsite Extras:
These are amenities or services that can be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to add these to your booking. Extras must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to check-in.
Camp wood, pine or hardwood - $5
Dry, split camp wood is available at the campsite. Pine for easy to light fires and dry red oak or other hardwoods for longer lasting burns, also great for cooking.
A float is provided to drift around on the pond and a small dock is great for diving from.
A large cooler stocked with ice will be waiting for you.
The month of August is great for picking wild blackberries on the property.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
